DJ Kwena grew up in a town in Pretoria called Ga-rankuwa. This at the time held the crown for the best underground DJs, producers and music lovers in South Africa. This only led to Kwena listening and analysing to music day in and day out.
Guava Single?
DJ Kwena had just returned from an afternoon gig when he decided to spend some quality time with the family. The family was relaxing in the living room when he noticed that his dad was eating a guava. DJ Kwena remembered how his friends used to call a person that does not take care of their physical appearance a “guava” in high school. He immediately went into the studio to cook you this funny and groovy single.
